...another weekend...

...another weekend that has flown past quicker than you can say Sunday. Just finishing work after 12 hours of making sample request packs, rounding up the day browsing through recently bought books that I have never had the chance to read. I thought you may be interested in one of them - Flowers by Tricia Guild - it's perfect inspiration for colour, interesting twists to using florals- she has a clever way of making you see, the most simplest every day flower, blossom into something quite new. Sourced in Provence, just simple in packaging and traditional in fragrance, a perfect vintage find...

bridesmaids - where do you start, do you have 2 or 22, does the decision concerning colour come from (finally!) finding the right attire or is your colour initiated by something found or cherished such as a piece of vintage ribbon, a stone from the beach while out walking, a flower, a photograph.... here's a few snap shots to inspire or set the seed...
