...lobster and swan...

...my valentine card to my husband arrived this morning, from lobster and swan, well its not actually a card but miniature bunting in a matchbox that spells 'valentine' - obviously I know he won't want to display it across his computer at work so I am hoping it comes back my way so I can hang it on my pin board in the studio...so I suppose that makes it a present to myself!?*...

cartmel

Well,..... the 'Cartmel' collection has only just been launched and it looks as if it is going to be one of the best selling collections this year, it holds a special place in my heart as it was designed from drawings produced in 'The Lakes' last summer, 'our perfect family hideaway', Jamie, Ava, Mia and Me........warming memories of a gorgeous little village 'Staveley in Cartmel' at the base of Lake Windermere. My designs, to me, are diaries, endearingly treasured....
Above is the Charcoal range re-coloured for a client introducing hot pink. If you would like to request a sample please quote Cartmel: Charcoal - Natasha.

If you are inspired by the 50's and 60's and would love a vintage style dress that is made exclusively for you then you must see Candy Anthony's collections (based in London). The silhouette is simple yet stylish and you can bring a splash of fun through colour using printed fabrics or netting underneath the skirt......
